Mr. Andrew Swiecicki
Mr. Swiecicki has served the Haddon Township School District for over twenty years and is grateful for the opportunity to work with the school community at RMS. Mr. Swiecicki previously served as assistant principal at Haddon Township High School where he expanded curricular offerings to include more advanced placement courses as well as courses in engineering and web design to meet the evolving needs of students. Prior to becoming assistant principal, he taught a variety of technology and social studies courses at Rohrer Middle School and Haddon Township High School.
Mr. Swiecicki prides himself most on a social-emotional learning program he established before the pandemic that helps students to work through their stress utilizing a lens of mindfulness which can lead to more productive outcomes. The program proved its effectiveness during the pandemic when stress levels were high for many students. “I want our students to be a product of their choices, not their circumstances,” stated Mr. Swiecicki.
Mr. Swiecicki is passionate about supporting diverse student needs, fostering social-emotional learning and promoting digital tools for teaching and learning. As the new principal of William G. Rohrer Middle School, he intends to focus on building partnerships with faculty, students, parents and the community. Mr. Swiecicki believes in the ability for all to learn, work together and build a thriving community.
